First part of a series I'm doing based on the 7 Endless characters from Neil Gaiman's Sandman comic books.

Bit more "arty" than I usually do, but I saw a sketch by Bill Seinkewicz once of some French fashionista and it reminded me of the galleries featured in the series.

Anyway it's the ever-lovable Death, of the Endless.

*Full view might be a little big.

Hand drawn in brush/pen/ink and a little bit of white Gouache.

To be insane is a privilege because once your brain begins to think realistically, the bliss of insanity disappears and you are left with the woes of society.

For some reason I always picture Death with very bright blue eyes...must be Terry Pratchett's influence.
