LOZ: Hyrule Noir EpilogueEpilogue
Saturday, 21:57. My apartment. 2 months later.
Our main news tonight, the mutilated body of missing Governor of Hyrule City was found earlier today washed up on the shore of Lake Hylia, some 10 miles outside of the City limits. Authorities say he died after a severe head trauma but no further details can be released at this time. This of course means that the proposed election for a new Governor can now go ahead, with the latest poll favouring outside success story: candidate and former Hyrule Town Hall Librarian, Zelda Fitzgerald.
I smiled as I switched the TV set off and poured myself a large scotch. It was a cool winter night in Hyrule City and a soft snow had begun to fall. I was celebrating my latest case closing. Tingle had just been put behind bars for a very very long time after I caught him trying to sneak into a local boys school dormitory. Now hed be spend

Friday, around 1:00am. Ganondorfs Suite.
He charged at me with a tenacity and speed that was shockingly quick for a man his size. Imagine a bulldozer coming at you, then put a drag car engine in it. My heart was pounding in my chest as I could see the fire in his eyes getting fiercer with each stride. He was a couple of metres away when he raised his knife up in the air and swung it towards me.
I dived out of the way just in time, rolled around the back of him and grabbed the nearest thing to hand. An antique shield that was propped up on a pedestal by the sofa. Stone gargoyles looked down on me from high up above and the rain water ran off them like a waterfall. Their porcine features taunting me. Mocking me. Their granite faces saying Come in if you dare. The whole building represented everything the city had become. Ugly. Oppressive. Corrupt.
The storm had become worse in the time Id stood there going over things in my head. I was soaked to the core but I didnt care. More important things on my mind. Lightning flickered in the skies above me. Nice weather for an apocalypse.
I leaned agai
mechanici want to kiss every aching wound you have,
bandage your heart every time it bleeds,
and patch up your mind over and over
because not a single tear deserves to fall
from your brandy-drenched eyes
but this dripping heart of mine can only feel
and the healing honey words it flames get caught
in the back of my throat and on the roof of my mouth
so i only have these passionate guttural cries
to tell you that i care all too much
and in order to fix you up again,
i would need to tear myself to tatters
and trade all of my working parts
for your leftover, fading pieces
but i just haven’t figured out how.
