"Hi I'm Daisy!"

Yep, she's back again; my rock n' roll version of Princess Daisy from the Mario Bros games. But this pic has a story behind it! WoOOoo storiees...

Somebody accused me of putting no effort into my last Daisy pic (I wont say who in case DA throw me out for abuse), so here's my visual reply. I wont point out exactly what they said but it was along the lines of "You could have at least drawn her in the Mushroom Kingdom," "That's sick," and "You can do better than that...."

..Well...

Firstly I think you're missing the point of pinup/cheesecake art - it's not about cutesy backgrounds, big Anime love and that kinda thing. It's all about the babes and the retro feel. A look I was going for in that particular picture. If you get offended by the lack of clothes she's wearing, then dont look. There's much more erotic imagery of Daisy on DA than my PG-13 image.

And also, it takes a lot more effort than you might think to totally change a popular character's look while still maintaining some degree of recognition to the original. I DO NOT just copy the look of the character, stick it in a different pose and call it my own image. If you really want to see her as you pretty much told me to draw her, then do it yourself. Please dont attempt to muscle in on my page and tell me what to do. That's how Nazi Germany operated. Well, with countries, not the internet.

Seriously, I'm all for creative criticism, but that was taking the piss quite frankly.
