Play the Objective

Part one of two propaganda images based on multiplayer FPS games. Basically I reckon that (regardless of skill level) there are two types of players: Those that play as a team and go for the objective, and those who only care about their Kill/Death Ratio.

This is my tribute to all the team players out there.

Personally I'm not that great at FPS games - I don't particularly suck, but neither am I top of the leaderboards. Because of this I've moved away from the Team Deathmatches and Free for Alls and started playing games like Domination, Sabotage and Capture the Flag. Even though I'm not getting the most kills on the map, I'm usually capturing areas and generally supporting my team. And guess what? All of a sudden I'm not doing so badly on those leaderboards any more.

Unless of course your team is full of K/D loving lone wolves. In which case, either play the fucking objective or fuck off back to TDM! I've had more than a few instances where my team has lost because people are too busy worrying about their K/D and not doing anything else. I can always tell because in this case, I'll have the most points on my team with about 7 kills whereas there are people with 25+ kills and 0 captures.

Rant over. Here's to all you team players out there.

*Note - While "Team Play" is universal in nearly every FPS multiplayer, my comments refer predominantly to Call of Duty. I own both MW3 and BF3 but personally I prefer the more arcadey aspect of CoD. Please do NOT start a flame war on here*
