The Birth of Witchblade

Inspired by Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus," I thought I'd give it a comic twist and make Venus one of the bearers of the Witchblade.

Anyway I tried to make the Witchblade armour itself look a bit more green and organic while keeping most of the figure true to the original painting.

Pretty pleased with this. I quite like fucking up old paintings and making them my own

Hope you all like. This one's dedicated to Michael Turner who is still an inspiration despite not being with us.
