The Planeteers - Start to End

Here's a bit of a bonus for everybody who has been following =Ice-brand and my series: The Planeteers.

It's been a loooooong journey to get to this point. Well for Michael anyway. I actually finished my side of it about a year ago

But here is all our work together to show just how much work Mike puts into his paintings and also to show the evolution of the pieces. The linearts at the top are by myself, then we have my lines over Mike's digital work, then the paintings by Mike.

I really can't take too much credit for the pieces. After all I can draw pretty quickly and the idea to reinvent The Planeteers was Mike's idea. I did however write the back stories for each character which can be read on each individual piece (see below) and these stories pretty much formed the themes in the pictures.

So anyway, The Planeteers are all done and hopefully soon we will be bringing you Captain Planet himself to fill in the holes and explain why the Planeteers broke up.

Thanks to Michael Lewis =Ice-brand for - not so much knocking the ball out of the park, but knocking it out the park, stealing it, violate it, stuff it with a grenade and then knocking it back into the park - with the digital paintings. I love collaborating with him and pretty soon I'm just going to make him colour all my pictures. This is the first he will be finding out about this so good luck bro.

And a big thanks to the watchers and commenters and fave-ers for the support and giving us a reason to finish them. Personally I have watchers who fave and comment on everything I post so I am eternally grateful to them.
