Arr!!

Hey there DA peoples.

It's been a while since I updated this journal, so I thought I'd let you all know what I've been getting up to.

I still hate Star Wars.

I've been doing quite a bit of drawing lately. I seem to be enjoying doing it again rather than it being a chore. I found that I was pretty much drawing the same stuff over and over again. But after coming back from Devon a couple of weeks ago it's as if I've been refreshed and hopefully the things I'm doing now will reflect that. So what's in the pipeline?

Well, while I'm still doing pinup stuff, there are noticably less girly pics in my current sketchbook. OK there's still quite a few but I doubt the majority will see the light of DA. I will let slip though that I've got a special Hallowe'en pinup pic coming up as well as a collab of sorts with the lovely

Otherwise I've been getting back to my horror roots. Maybe it's the time of year or something but I'm loving the gore again. In fact there's also a Dead Space pic on the way.

Which brings me to the title of this journal - I need some help from you guys. Or rather your opinions anyway.

Y'see October seems to be an awesome time for video games. Bioshock has come out for the PS3 (on my Xmas list!), there's LittleBigPlanet out next week too which I cant wait for. Some big news I heard at the start of the month:

Manhunt 2 was cleared for release on the 31st woo!
Now I can get my snuff on, albiet heavily censored.

But my real dilemma comes on the same day. I'm getting Manhunt for certain, but with LBP the week before I'm going to be strapped for cash - only there's another 2 games out the same day that I'm REALLY interested in...

Fallout 3 and Dead Space.

Which one do I get? I love the sound of the open-ended nature of Fallout - the fact that the story plays out how YOU decide, and generally it's being tipped for one of the games of the year. However from seeing gameplay footage I cant help think it looks overhyped. Whereas Dead Space looks incredibly scary and impressive, but it's really linear and if the reviews are right, a lot like Resi 4. And I really suck at games like Resi 4. Suck to the point where I might have well not bought the game at all.

I can only afford one of these but I want the both. It's either going to come down to a coin toss or seing what you guys think.
